Early morning rescue

On Tuesday July 14th, at 3:30am, Rescue squad 34 was dispatched for a report of a motor vehicle collision with 3 people trapped. Rescue squad 34 was the first heavy duty rescue truck on scene, and immediately deployed all rescue tools to the vehicle that had struck a telephone pole, and a tree. The vehicle was stabilized, and the doors, and roof were removed to gain access to the trapped occupants. With assistance from Howard county, and BWI fire departments, 2 of the 3 occupants were rescued. Due to the severity of the impact, unfortunately, 1 occupant succumbed to her injuries.
